Parameter calibration of American ginseng seeds for discrete element simulation

چکیده

The accurate contact parameters of American ginseng seed particles,which are the basis for establish discrete element simulation model seeds.The seeds were calibrated by combining physical tests and together. basic parameters, repose angle sprouted determined tests. significantly screened conducting Plackett-Burman test. Meanwhile, it was that collision recovery coefficient, static friction coefficient rolling interspecific have significant influences on By steepest climb test, optimal interval value significance parameter determined. Subsequently, second-order regression equation between established, optimized solved, best combination 0.346, 0.769, 0.490. group average 38.80°, relative error with measured 0.733%. results revealed reliable, which can provide a design performance optimization seed-metering device in later stage.
